Windows XP is Expiring on April 8

Windows Expired

If you recently received a notification that your Windows XP is expiring, have no fear.

Actually, I take that back.  You have two options. (1) Upgrade to Windows 7 for $42.00 or (2) Upgrade to Windows 8 for $79.00.

Microsoft is abandoning Windows XP on April 8, 2014 - which means it will no longer be releasing any security or any other updates.  It’s a call for celebration for hackers - so use it at your own risk.  I’d recommend avoiding USB or media that may contain malware and avoiding the internet.

Well, is it time to buy another computer? Maybe.

Windows Vista will fall to the same fate on April 11, 2017; Windows 7 users will be on Jan. 14, 202; and Microsoft 8 on Jan. 10, 2023. For more information visit Microsoft’s website detailing on their “Life Cycle”
