How to Post 3D Photos on Facebook

Posted on November 2, 2018 by Michael Rosario  |  Comments

3D photo

Facebook’s latest feature allows you to add 3D photos that has a “parallax” effect.  By the way, this requires “Portrait Mode” found on models from iphone 7 Plus and later – 7 Plus, 8 Plus, X, XS, or XS Max.  This is not yet available on Android phones unfortunately.

Here are the steps to create a 3D photo.

  1. Take a “Portrait Mode” photo
  2. Go to your Facebook App and Create a New Post
  3. Click on 3D Photo
  4. This will bring you to your portrait photos on your iphone
  5. Select a Portrait Mode photo and it will generate the photo
